Hello all,

So the AD900x are on offer where I live for £60, but I was about to get the DT990s, is it worth spending the £60 extra for these aswell as or instead of the DT990s?

Thanks.

DT990 has sort of a v-shaped frequency response (powerful mid-bass and bright -clear- treble)
AD900x is more balanced, less bass and less treble than DT990.

The right pick is down to preference.

Best Luck!

yeah depend what you enjoy. I prefer more natural sound... but why not... for some music it might be nice sounding also

Just get the ATH-AD900X and skip on the DT990.
The AD900X will offer a more balanced audio, over the DT990's stronger bass/treble.
Also the 40-Ohm AD900X works with or without a headphone amplifier.
