The A900 isolation is good, not as good as Senn HD-280 but a lot better than the CD3000. I still hear my computer fans, with the A900, but very low, but with the Senn 280 I dont hear anything, still I like a lot more the way the A900 sound.
I just got mine today (about an hour ago, to be precise) and I haven't even burned them in and they shocked me. I really enjoy the comfort of the headphone with the 3d wing support
, so I really enjoy them more than the 280s. Plus, they sound ten times better than the burned in 280s! I am a happy person. As for isolation, they are much better than anything else I've tried, and they block out my computer (that's onyl cause it's a sonata silent case), but also the table fan which puts out 70 db of noise. I don't even hear it over my music. w00t!

I'd say the a900 has pretty impressive insolation, though it seems a little less to me then I'm used to, but the senn 25's I was wearing basically blocked out all noise, though as for blocking out fans and what not, the insolation is idefinantly sufficient.
and yes, you will miss your phone/door bell/fire alarm/whatever if you have music playing through them... :a900smile: <--it will exist some day
