Hi all,
I am very satisfied with my ATh-A500's but my ever so lovely girlfried tripped over the cord when it was plugged into the Tv, and now the jack has been bent slightly. The consequence is that it only works is i plug it into something in a certain way, so I would like to know if it is possible to do a recable or replace the jack by cutting off the wire at some point and attach a new jack?
I have 0 experience with a soldering iron so a guide would be ideal (i saw several guides on this forum but all were with different cables as my ATH-A500's). I would really like to fix this problem as I miss my phones and my girlfriend is feeling really guilty (which has its advantages) so you would help 2 people out by providing a solution.
