Hi Guys,

Any of you heard of ATC-HiFi?

They are being sold at Richer Sounds in the UK, I am guessing they are a re-brand as one of their amps is the same as an XDuoo one.

Both players have a line-out socket, the DP10 is also an optical out socket, whereas the DP20 is coaxial out.

The DP10 has dual microSD slots, the DP20 single,

DP10 uses AKM4490, DP20 uses dual WM8740

Both have buttons, no touch screen and are pure players with no extras.

The DP10 is priced at £199.95
The DP20 is priced at £289.95

I shall be getting both to review, and will update this thread with reviews.

I have seen them in ebay and posted about them in Obscure Chinese DAPs thread. They look like rebranded xDuoo X10, Xuelin iHifi 990 and Xuelin iHifi780.

All english errors corrected and GUI improvements. My firmware mod is based on Xeulin's as ATC don't have one available to download, but they say they are working on an update

More advances, the tape deck theme has been improved and it can now be selected as Theme 4 (Blue Tape) and Theme 5 (Orange Tape ), Theme 1,2,3 are the above (Blue Vinyl), (Pink Vinyl), (Orange Vinyl)
Accented colours on battery and play/pause.

To flash you must be using a fat32 formatted microsd card.
Copy the hf990.fw to the root of the card and:
Either using Settings, Firmware Update option.
Or with the power off hold back (bottom button on the front) while pressing power.

Modified my awesome HDA-DP20 / ihifi990 tonight. Bypassed the omron relay, it will help with slight sound improvement but also made room for a second 1000uf Cap The power on and off pop doesn't bother me at all, kind of nostalgic, the sound of this awesome DAP is now even more amazing with 2 x Nichicon KW 1000uf in parallel with the original Kemet 330uf.

Replaced the stock 3000mah battery with a 4300mah one (supposedly) so we'll see how the battery improves (already improved with my firmware mod and relay bypass previously)



The original battery is the black one.

Oh yeaaaaaaah, finally got round to upgrading the 2 x WM8740 DACs to 2 x WM8741 DACs

Sounds freaking awesome, more detail, soundstage and low end.

Just replaced the 2 x AD6810ARZ with 2 x ADA4627-1BRZ High Precision Amplifiers and added TDK noise suppressant sheet to all ICs.

Improved yet again, wider soundstage from the cap bypass, and wow! even more detail from the OPA1622 opamp using a custom board from plutonim (russia) Its as good as ANY top end dap i've heard /got !
