I got the beats by dre headphones and returned them shortly after because they seemed to be used. Should I buy then again or can I get much better quality for 300$? I see ultrasone pro 650s here for 300, is that the best I can get for 300$ or is there something else I can get that is better for that price?

If you do a search for 'beats by dr dre', and variations on that theme, you'll find a bunch of threads that have this info. I'll just say that there are lots of alternatives for $300.

Of course, it all depends on what you're looking for in your headphone.

I want something good for all types of music, I don't want to use any amp or anything just straight to the iPhone. I listen mainly to rap hiphop and such. And I'm at the store and have no time to browse the forums.

Can't you just hold off a purchase for today, come back home, and then browse the forums all you want? Besides, I doubt a brick-and-mortar store, especially one that carries The Beats, would have any quality headphones there in the first place.
