Just received these in an email. Not sure whether they've been doctored or not, but they're interesting.

Or the main actor has a different article of clothing on between takes but the same scene ?

Now i gotta go watch the damn pirate movie again and look for the tag.....after the game of course !

worth1000.com runs photoshop contests, so I assume that they're very good photoshop works.

Pretty cool though.

the plane takes 5-10 seconds on photoshop 7+

while tom cruise's legs look fake somehow, i don't doubt that similar appliances have to be used with some actors.

but the depp job is a good one - a professional ad fake

You know, they can digitally crop those tags out of the shot.

yes, that would explain why there's always hundreds of cgi workers listed at the end of the movies... cutting off the tags before filming might be easier but then the director would have all those unemployed computer geeks on his hands

Having shorter stars standing on things to bring them up to height with other actors is a common occurance in movies. The most famous of these was Audie Murphy who always played the hero/leading man ( he was an actual war hero) and who at 5' 5", always had to stand on something throughout his entire movie shoots.

Actually, don't laugh -- I heard that most of the CGI in Charlie's Angels was cropping Drew Barrymore's butt.

Personally, I wish they hadn't. I like me a "natural" woman.
