Hi guys!

I've been using the studio phones German Maestro GMP 8.35 now for a good few months. Unfortunately, my laptop is of a different grade when it comes to audio quality. I have a business laptop, namely, Lenovo Thinkpad t410... so as you might guess, the sound card is absolute **** (along with e.g. graphics)...

I've been considering the FiiO E17 for a long, long time, however, I just don't want to spend around 100GBP for something which I don't know will be making a huge impact. I've decided I want to try a similar product, but in the range 10-30 GBP, and since there are quite a few options, I knew I had to turn to the holy grail of headphone nerds :) , yay!

Primarily I will be using it as an amp/DAC - and primarily for music production. Specifically, it would be fantastic if it somehow would replace the audio interface on my laptop completely. It is important that it will work with the ASIO4ALL v.2 driver (or if it has its own high quality driver) as this is what will be needing when producing in FL Studio...

However, it would also be nice with something portable that I can use for my mp3/phone.
I found a few options (again from FiiO) which are of interest, but need your guidance:

"FiiO D5 coaxial USB Decoder DAC / amp"?
"FiiO E3 headphone amp"?
"FiiO E6 headphone amp"?

Seems as though the first option might actually be most suitable for me? Anyone know if there's any major quality difference in between these? E3 and E6 are obviously portable... but the D5 should be equally fine to bring with eh?

Many thanks! Good day ;)
