At last, a new rig.

(Posting this here because it applies to all components)

A few months ago I had to sell my rig to help a family member out with their financial issues (Grrr). I had this setup;

Music Hall CD25.2-->Blue Jeans Interconnects-->Singlepower PPX3-->Sennheiser HD650

Actually the PPX3 was DOA, before that I had a CK2III. I still have the interconnects.

Anyway, I'm now looking to buy a new rig. It won't be superb, seeing as the budget is only ~$550. I'm thinking something like this;

Silverstone eb01-->Darkvoice 336i-->HD600

I'm not sure if that'll pair well, thats why I'm posting. I also may consider a portable setup, but I haven't paid much attention to the portable arena for a while, so I'll need some help.

What would you do in my situation?

not sure what a good $500+ complete rig is, but of course it goes without saying that you should buy used.
