Apologies if this has been answered before, I did try and have a look

I'm in the States soon, and I'd like a new pair of headphones. I'm already looking to get a pair of AKG 420's with the money I have left over from buying a pair of audio-technica's as well. Price is a factor here

I've found the em7's for around 30quid while I;m state-side.
The em700's I could get delivered for around 62quid (double the price...not good!)
em9 I could get for 70quid.

I know the em9's are meant to be much better in terms of sound quality, but is there much difference between the em7's and the em700's? I much prefer the cord arrangement on the em7's as they will be for portable use.


Also, in terms of listening on a plane - Senn px200 vs akg's 420?
The reason I'm getting a pair of akg's is that they fit me better (having tried my friends). I have to extend the px200's so much to fit my large head and it looks silly.


Apparently the ksc75 are amazing, but I can't say I'm sold by the design. The price is good though. AKG 420 vs ksc75?
