Hi,
I'm using foobar 1.1.13 with the ASIO support plug-in 2.1.2 and the UniXonar driver V1.53 on Windows 7 - 64bit SP1. ASIO seems to works because the windows mixer is not working and i do volume switching with the slider in foobar. I do this evening a lot of reading here in the forum to get information if playing different sound format files the bit rate is automatically switched or not. I have FLAC Files with 24/96, 24/88,2 and 24/192 and ALAC Files with 16/44.1. My question is, must I set in the Xonar Driver Panel the bit-rate to avoid resampling or does the ASIO support make the changes? Is there a tool to see the bit-rate that is really used?
Thanks for help.
Manfred
