Hi Head-Fi People,
So, I have a Asus Vulcan computer headset. It consists of headphones, detachable mic and lead. There is an issue with the lead and I need to make or buy a new lead.
The lead has a 3 ring 3.5mm jack that plugs into the headset, an in-line volume control with a mute switch and the other end has a green 2 ring 3.5mm jack to plug into the headphone socket on a computer and a red 2 ring 3.5mm jack to plug into the mic socket on a computer. I hope that makes sense.
What I am seeking advice for is;
!) can I buy a custom made one, Asus do not sell it.
or
2) Any idea where I can get the components from to try and make it myself.
