Well of course you'll be able to play them, and they'll achieve good listening volume easily.  Now achieving the right kind of dynamics?  Not as much so.  I also found they sounded extremely sibilant and harsh in the treble out of the mix amp, but I'm used to amping them with a warm tube amp.  Also not that you'll be double amping from both the mixamp and whatever else's amp, and it will result in a more noisy, less efficient signal.
