Anyone had any issues playing DFF files?

The tracks load, but as you as you hit play it comes up with an "unplayable file" error message. Any ideas?

Try doing a manual media scan. Settings -> System Reset -> initialize media scan. If you have playlists set up, you should uncheck the clear playlists box. It will take up to 10 minutes to rescan and reindex all of your files.

If that doesn’t work, it could be the track is corrupt or if the track is on a microSD card, it could be an issue with the card itself.

I'll try the media scan option. I'm not one for playlists, as strangely (it seems) I listen to albums! I will check the playlists box is unchecked anyway.

I do leave everything on MicroSD, rather than on the player - so I'll try on the SE100 if the media scan option doesn't work.

The file plays fine on my Mac and PC, and on a friend's cheapo portable player. The file has been ripped from an SACD.

Please have the YouTube app available in the update. I like the sq on this but i do also watch and listen to a fair amount of YouTube videos. In fact if it not available in the update i will be selling this and moving to something else where it is available.
Pretty short sighted to not have it available when many people get their review info from it nowadays...

YouTube cannot be made available, along with certain other apps like Google Music and Apple Music as they use Google Play Services to authenticate the app and require a valid Google Play Store installation.

I'm don't think it's A+K who's shortsighted in this case. This is a high quality audio device that happens to use Android for its OS. It's always been advertised as such. It's not a phone. It's not a video player. It's not a calculator. You may not have researched your purchase well enough if that's what you thought you were buying.

Anyway, i find with my open android dap’s i enjoy using them for all my portable uses, library, streaming, and YouTube.

• Car Mode function - When enabled, a more simplified display for one-handed use in the car
• EQ Sync Function - ability to save and export EQ settings and share with others. Ability to import custom EQ settings. Headphone manufacturers can also release customized EQ settings to match their headphones to our players.
• Improvements to OpenApp - Have not received much info on this yet, but I believe it's functional fixes like fixing the text color in search on Qobuz app, etc.
• System optimizations and bug fixes
