bought a Astell&Kern ak70 MK2 recently.

I’m pretty sure it’s genuine but I’m sure this thread will come in useful to others trying to find out if theirs is genuine too.

Does anyone know how to check if one is genuine? Is there somewhere I can type the serial number or something?

Also my ak has a sticker on the side saying stuff in Chinese and then 5v=1A but in the manual it says that this can charge with a 2 amp charger, can someone clear this up for me?

I think the best way is to get it from authorised seller. To identify, I think you will need some advises from expert from Astell & Kern.
