I have a 3 years old AK70 and I like it's sound. Recently thinking to upgrade to SP1000M if there is a noticeable difference in sound. I would be truly gratefully if you share a comparison, cause in my country I have no option to take a audition.

Yes, the gold is 'warmer', but I would prefer to describe it as 'thicker'; less air between the notes. The sound had a thick, syrupy quality to it that I did not like at all.
The 1000M has great detail, but myself and some others feel the upper mids are 'slightly' congested.
