So I have the DX220 and DX160 and the ak70 MKII. They are all different sounds to be honest. The AK70 is more poket-able. The Ibasso's are easier to hack around with.
If you like the AK sound probably worth waiting a short while as the SR25 was just released so the price of the SR15 will drop soon to I suspect around the £350 mark.

Im selling my AK70Mkii but only because I have just got an SR25, the AK70 is a nice small player but probably only for someone who pacifically wants one these days.

To be honest, I'm interested to ak70 mk ii just because the design in red is super perfect to me. Maybe if sr25 have the same color I will choose them. Thx for the information

My only experience of Fiio is with the X5iii. I preferred the AK70ii which, to my ears, had greater dynamism, detail and a weightier sound. Whilst I appreciate you liking the design of the 70ii, the later SR15 might be worth a look for not much difference in price.

Not familiar with AK 70 Limited. I have a limited Marine Blue color only made for Japan, but AK70 itself does not differ. Please clarify your question.

FYI - Because I've seen the question asked a few times but no one ever answers. YES! A 512GB MicroSD will work in the AK70 MKII. I also found a post where an A&K employee stated that the newly released (a few years ago) 400GB MicroSD is compatible. So I rolled the dice with a 512 and bingo.

Does anybody know how to get usb out to work on the AK70 first edition? Trying to use as a transport and I've already used two seperste dacs and they can pick up the signal, but for some reason reason there is no sound. Anyone has a solution or fix?

Hi,

In the first picture you see the Icon is off, now you see it in black it’s turned on and playing thru my Chord Mojo. To access the icon you swipe down from the tot of your AK70.

No problem, you are welcome, just swipe down from the top of your AK70 and touch the Icon to turn it on.
