Another question, so assuming if we use the AMP, can we still connect the AK380 + AMP to Hugo via USB ? Or do we need to remove the AMP module and connect it from AK380 to Hugo ?

Why would you use the AMP module if you're connecting to an external DAC?
 
Or is the question just whether you need to disconnect the AMP to make the USB output functional?

i've never seen them both in person, but which case quality is actually a better made, Aesopica or Dignis (for ak380+amp), pls help me to decide.

mmm.....has someone here successfully connected the AK 380 cu (or 380) to the Chord TT via USB audio? I have both but lack the requisite USB interconnect (type B  USB to micro B) to test this connection. If so, how is it compared with the optical? Feedback appreciated. TIA.

Nah......AK380 ---> OTG Micro USB Cable ---> Mojo (or m9XX) ---> HD800S
 
The USB audio will not work if connecting via the AK380 amp.
