When I use the AK stationary with the protection mode switched on, I connect it to a power bank that keeps the battery relatively constant at over 80%. From time to time I discharge it to 15% and then charge it completely to 100% to "calibrate" it.
I have no idea whether this has a positive effect on the battery and its lifespan. One thing is certain, the battery is a wearing part and will probably have to be replaced at some point. I hope that this is also possible with the AK.
Since I've turned on the 85% protection, never did a full charge again, would be good to know if this is recomended from times to times to fully charge the device

A quick recap of the story about the noises I hear in the left channel when activating tube mode.
In addition to the phenomenon that can be heard for a few seconds when switching from the OP to tube mode, it also happens when you pause playback in tube/hybrid mode for a while. This leads to the conclusion that the tubes are also switched off here, regardless of whether the LEDs on the back indicate that the tube/hybrid mode is activated, certainly also to save the battery.
In both cases, the phenomenon occurs when the tubes are practically "cold" and then come under voltage, and the one responsible for the left channel then causes the noise. I think that if this phenomenon does not occur to anyone else, you should have it checked out.

What did your dealer say about this issue? What should be checked out?

You are describing tube ringing which is a common phenomenon with portable tube gear. Yes, if I tap on the tubes while activated, I can get the tubes to ring a bit. The Raytheon pencil tubes run at pretty low voltages and don't take long to stabilize. But, they can be a little noisy up until stabilization.

The real question is what AK's threshold is for noisy tubes and what remediation they provide.

I have to be a little patient here, my dealer is not here this week, which is why I can only send the AK to him at the beginning of next week. But I have already explained the problem to him and he will take care of it.
On the other hand, I am asking here because I want to find out whether anyone can confirm a similar phenomenon with their AK, I don't want to send the device on its way for no reason.

And again, this has nothing to do with me moving the device, just that I am putting the tubes into operation, the device itself is in its protective case and usually lies on a soft surface. When they are "warm" I can also move the device without hearing any reaction.

Will plexamp work with SP300T or any hi-end A&K?

Or an other app that simply allows me to connect to my personal music library?

If it does, it likely won't bypass the android SRC and you won't get hires. At least the android version of plexamp on my other android devices doesn't.

Plex Amp is not currently supported on any AK players except the P1. It has been highly requested (including by me) and hoping to add it soon.

Ah, good to know, I actually use plexamp on my phone. I didn't know it's available. I've only used qobuz, amazon music and bandcamp so far. What other apps are you guys using on the P1?

The P1 has Google Play Store on it, so you can download any Android app.

I'm struggling to bowse my music in the album, I want to use this view to sort by "release date", but AK OS doesn't seem to get it right, I'm sure the Year tag is correct (checked all data with mp3tag and Foobar), I also add a new field called "Release Date" but Igot the same issue.

Having this right would help me bowsing recent launches, through cover navigation... but unfortunatly couldn't find a solution yet (besides putting all in the same folder and browse by folder, but it isn't great) .

Any help is appreciated, @JasonNYC have you experienced this?

Thank you mate

I would then use my IPAD,would that make a difference?

Thanks mate for that reply

A friend sent me pix of plex working on his SP3000T

He installed plex on his device(MAC computer I think,so I assume my PC would also work?) and used DLNA servers on his SP3000T and it finds the Plex and he is now streaming music on his home device/server on his SP300T

I forgot to ask him if that is Lossless or Lossy though.

Would you have any guesses at that question?

IPad doesn't have the limitations like android. You'll get hires using and external DAC with plexamp.

WOW that is great news mate

So to repeat the obvious(Please forgive)

I install plexamp on my pc

Tell plexamp the locale of music I want in it

Install plexamp on my IPAD,open plexamp and connect to that folder

Use my external DAC on IPAD and suddenly Bob becomes my uncle?

PS Did u see where my friend has plexamp working on his sp3000T using DLNA?

He sent me pics

Not sure why A&K say its not working on SP3000T yet?

Cheers
