$9 on Amazon. Works great unless you are using a really thick USB cable. Otherwise a usb c 90 degree would fix that issue.

Hello, looking to add an SP3000t to replace my sp2000t. Could anyone tell me if if there is any noise with movement on this unit? I like to take my DAPs on long walks and around the house and have read some comments there may some static or hissing from the tubes with movement. I never experienced this with my SP2000t. Also, has anyone had any experiences with it and Anni 2023 and Storm. Does it drive them adequately? My sp2000t drove the Anni fine, but have a storm incoming in the near future so just trying to prepare. Thanks in advance.

Storm yes, Anni no. To me, Anni sounded very weak on SP3000T, I had to add a portable amp. Storm sounded just right.
Tube noise on SP2000T is much worse on mine than the SP3000T. If you don't hear it, maybe you are immune to this issue. ;)
Yes, I can walk with the SP300T in my pocket, even in tube modes, there's not much noise.

I personally have zero noise on mine, regardless of what I do, both in hybrid and tube mode.

I think it’s a hit or miss: a lot of users have noise/ringing issues with theirs. I must have been lucky with this one.

@slumberman you're not the only one. I had 0 such issues with mine SP3000T so far. Furthermore the demo unit I've got for testing from the dealer also had no such issue, in fact if it had even a tiny bit of it I would never purchase one in the first place. @cmasto if you are afraid of tubes ringing I would advise to find a dealer who can open a box for you and you can test the unit before purchasing.

It would be interesting to know why some devices have problems with noise or other interference. Could it possibly be due to the environment in which they are operated? The tubes are only protected by glass on the back, so it is possible that interference from the immediate vicinity could enter.

Along with the rest I have zero issues with extraneous noise. I walk and take it everywhere. Really loving it to be honest.

What do you think is weak with Annihilator on the 3000T? I like it very much and use it mostly in hybrid mode. Treble is well extended, just as it should be, strong bass. Nice experience overall.

In my experience, while you might like storm with it, it doesn’t drive it nearly enough compared to more powerful daps. It’s personal sonically, but power wise it’s a no go.

Maybe is just me being spoiled by previous experiences

I have listened to the Annihilator first with SP3000T+HAA Resolute (the Thrax headphones power amp), then moved up one step hooking it up to the Boulder 812. Then Wandla plus Tsuranagi. Finally, I wanted to see what it sounded like on my SP3000T. It was somehow underwhelming. It still sounded good, but not like the powerhouse I've heard before. Without the Tsuranagi, the bass was weak and in general what I heard was just wonderful treble, but not much else. With Tsu, it was a completely different beast. In the end, I thought the bass was too strong for me, it seemed to be a very pronounced V shape signature. Very different from Wandla +Tsu. Maybe some sort of negative synergy with Tsuranagi, who knows...maybe I was just tired. I ended up not getting the Anni, but it's still on my wish list.

In my experience, while you might like storm with it, it doesn’t drive it nearly enough compared to more powerful daps. It’s personal sonically, but power wise it’s a no go.
I listened to Storm at CJ London, a lot :). It sounded great from 3000T, even without the Tsuranagi. But then Chang lent me his 320 Max Ti and I agree, it was different. But as far as I can remember, it didn't sound like two different IEMs. So I understand exactly what you mean, Storm does sound great with SP3000T, even greater with more powerful gear.

In the end, it's how I approached them. Have I listened to Storm first on the Resolute or Boulder, maybe I would have said the same as for Anni, but since it was the other way around, I simply can't get this idea out of my head. I will give it another go when I will have the chance. Maybe all it takes is a fresh start.

Obviously, even I trust more the opinion of those who actually have the Anni/Storm and can listen to them rather than relying on memories, like me. :)

And, as a general rule, I find a portable amp a very good addition to the SP3000T. With a couple of exceptions (eg. Meze Advar), all my IEMs sound better through the Tsu. Some are spectacularly better (Maven 2, IE900, Mest 3, etc), some are just a little better (Traillii, Project M).

Definitly wouldnt get sp3k/t for Storm or Anni specifically.

Its drives easy to drive things like APX Se, Mentor, Traillii besutifully though. I dont think its lacking anyhow compared to powerhouse like LP6 Ti with APX.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. To clarify a bit more, my main daily iems are Traillii and Jewel. Just need to make sure that the SP3000t can adequately drive the annis and storm when I’d like to take them on the go since they are a bit more power hungry - which it sounds it should be just fine.
