In my experience so far, and without being able to prove it scientifically, the hybrid mode consumes the most energy, as both amplifier circuits are active here. The pure tube mode seems to consume a little less energy, and the OP mode consumes the least energy, which is not surprising.

In addition, you can hardly use the device without a case. It looks beautiful, but it is completely unwieldy.3000M FTW![]()

Even the 3000M needs a case. So slippery, lots of glass and sharp edges.
I use Commander One PRO. You can find it on the App Store. Its much more powerful than Android File Transfer. With Commander One PRO, you can simply cut and paste a master folder and the program will create all the album sub folders and copy all content in batch mode. You can also use it to rename folders and files on your DAP.Guys what it is the best method to transfer files to SD card from Mac M-based computers? File Drop is quite cumbersome as it requires FTP, USB connection isn't working out of the box either. Windows integration is a lot better IMHO, but sometimes I need Mac and removing constantly SD card to add files isn't a good solution either. Any tips please?
Does anyone know if the additional leather case has the opening for cable connectors larger than the included (free) one? I got fed up taking it out of the case because of a large barrel 4,4mm plug...
I only know the cases in a different color, black and dove, which have already been shown here, but apart from the color and the stand they contain, the rest is identical. Other manufacturers only have a case that completely encloses the device and from which you have to take it out to use it.

Nope. Same size openings.
This guy does great work. He may be able to make custom case for you likely less expensive than AK version:

To @JasonNYC maybe this is something you could take into consideration for future products. Liquid links cables in particular do not fit with the case on. There are others too...
I basically like what Etsy has to offer here, one or two of the AK models are just unfortunately not the 3000t.
The fact that the screen is protected by a flap is what makes the cases so interesting, the connections only have to remain accessible when you open it so that you don't have to disconnect the cables.

He will do custom work. Just send him an email with the link on his Etsy site. He's out of the Ukraine, but I've never had any issues getting the products delivered within a couple weeks (when in stock).
He uses pretty decent quality leathers. I don't find his leather noticeably inferior to the AK leathers. I've bought at least 3-4 cases from him and they all are well made and indistinguishable fit from the brand provided cases (Chord, iBasso, etc..). His workmanship is meticulous. His prices are surprisingly low given the quality of the items he produces.
I have no issues with my 4.4 cables and rarely use the USB C port, so the black leather AK case with the stand works well for me. If not, I would have no hesitation reaching out to Valentinum.
Could be an alternative, but there is no further information about it

I tried to reach out to them on Instagram several times, but no luck.
They sell on Taobao, but it’s impossible to navigate/order comfortably from outside of China.
Looks like quality work, however.
I did exactly that. He doesn't have the model yet but he will try to find the player. Indeed, it seems to be exactly what I need, big openings around the connectors.I tried to reach out to them on Instagram several times, but no luck.

What's funny though, is that the SP2000T does not have this problem. The case on the SP3000T, however, is too protective. Most cables work fine, but not the Annihilator stock cable or the Hansound Nyx. If the case with a stand would not be so expensive, I'd buy one and cut it myself - afraid I'd end up with something functional but ugly.
I don't think the cases with the kickstand have a different opening. They're just a different leather with a kickstand. no other difference, judging from the photos.I did exactly that. He doesn't have the model yet but he will try to find the player. Thank you for pointing me in this direction.
