My is brand new, last for around 9-10h with tubes, local playback. Which feels great after Lp6ti which barely can push out 6h

DittoI have been using SP3kT for about 3 months. SP3kT immerses me in the world of music. However, I am slightly disappointed by the slight noise and short battery life on sensitive IEMs like the HS2000 MKII. Other than that, I am satisfied.
I think 9h is already very good.

About 6 hoursHow much play time do you get out of your battery? I lost 15% in 50 min, playing locally saved files, hybrid mode, medium current, with DAR on. This would give me about 5h, if it stays linear. Listening to Traillii over 4,4 connection, vol36.
I guess I could deactivate WiFi and lower tubes current, but battery life is not really critical. Also, usually I don't use DAR, the battery probably lasts longer without it. But for a long flight, for example, could potentially be annoying (who am I kidding, there's always a battery in my backpack).
I would bet DAR sucks up most of it.I guess I could deactivate WiFi and lower tubes current, but battery life is not really critical. Will redo the test without it and report back.I would bet DAR sucks up most of it.
LE: in SP3KM DAR reduces playtime by roughly 30%, as reported by @twister6 in the 3KM thread. But it's software based.

That is actually my main criticism, the battery consumption and probably its capacity. A more powerful unit and improved energy management would certainly have been desirable here. Especially considering that this AK has tubes that tend to consume more energy than conventional pure transistor devices.
If you really wanted to achieve the AK factory specifications, which I fundamentally doubt, then you would probably have to make extreme adjustments to the device's performance, which would probably have a negative impact on its excellent sound properties.

I wonder why the results are so different. I don't seem to be able to get under 20%/hour. Even with DAR off, low current, no wifi.
Any suggestions?

From my experience with daps its important to go through the whole 100% of the battery to estimate the time it lasts, first 20-30% are drained within 1.5-2h usually then it slows down.. at least for me with sp3ktI wonder why the results are so different. Any suggestions?

Hello @JasonNYC ,
Do you know if there is a more recent version of Roon ARC that can be uploaded to the servers? the latest I have (1.0.59) stopped working.
Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestion.

Hopefully you realized by now you need to update your Roon Server and not ARC.
My server is up to date: all other devices and Android based DAPs are able to connect to my server via ARC.Hopefully you realized by now you need to update your Roon Server and not ARC.
