Hope to see reviews soon, curious how it compares to the current sp3000
Al100% confident. Let's see.
It doesn't sound anything like the SE300. It does, on the other hand, sound exactly like the SP3000.Nice, I wonder if this would be an upgrade or a side grade from a SE300. I'm looking for something more portable. I thought the SE300 would do that, but I think that is still to big and heavy for poartable use.
So it would be a sidegrade....Al

We are shipping additional NOVUS units to dealers as we receive stock from EE. Best to check directly with dealers to see if they currently have stock. Will you guys be sending more NOVUS to dealers at the same time?

The SE300, the sound profile is different, so the SP3000M would next to an upgrade also be a sidegrade.to what?
Yeah, if you think the se300 sounds as good as the sp3000.The SE300, the sound profile is different, so the SP3000M would next to an upgrade also be a sidegrade.
Portability indeed fulfills one of the most important criteria for a DAP.Portable DAP should be indeed portable not transferrable like what most vendors are doing nowdays. Just because of right size I just ordered one.
I am not super thrilled but if this is at the same level of sound quality (SP3000) I would be happy about it. No more heavy fat DAP please..
I am extremely happy with the sound characteristics of Ti99 but some times I want to work with more modern UI, not like UI from 90's.
Are you aware that Activo is A&K's "cheap/entry level" brand?Portability indeed fulfills one of the most important criteria for a DAP.
A&K still need to improve a lot on the Software front imo. They are far behind the competition.
If they at least provided a full Android OS like the Activo P1 I would have been interested too, but not with the crappy Open App service and 90% of the DAP features which only work with the stock player and does not apply to streaming apps.
Agree software wise they are behind, very behind… soundwise they are way beyond competition of other daps. Heared many flagships of other brands, none of them except a few are on the same level. Certainly not ibasso or shanling.Portability indeed fulfills one of the most important criteria for a DAP.

Why else would I mention it in this thread out of all the million DAPs out there ?Are you aware that Activo is A&K's "cheap/entry level" brand?
Soundwise I would say it's subjective. For eg. I'm not a fan of the Dx320 (I own one) but I love the Kann Ultra.Agree software wise they are behind, very behind… soundwise they are way beyond competition of other daps. Sorry, I just thought you were one of those randos that likes to bomb unrelated threads. Why else would I mention it in this thread out of all the million DAPs out there ?
