You can from the device itself. I use folder view. See option next to album lets you move and other procedures. Then go sd card and you will see option to paste top right of screen.Does anyone know of a method for moving files from local memory to sd card from the device itself? What's the point of file drop if you can't get the files on the appropriate (larger) storage location?

The white listed one Or side loaded?Anyone knows why in the "download" section of the streaming app, there aren't the latest versions?
For example , I use Qobuz and the current version is 6.9.2.4 .
But 6.9.2.6 is already out on my Google Pixel smartphone and also on apkpure.
Why is it not reported that there is an update when I use the Qobuz app on my SP3000?
In the downloadable list of the streaming app , Qobuz , so far , is not updated to the latest versionThe white listed one Or side loaded?

It’s likely and I could be wrong, up to AK to decide when it is - as in they test and validate the app before it’s released to their closed platform. That means extra bug testing and close integration/support - but less and less frequent updates. In the downloadable list of the streaming app , Qobuz , so far , is not updated to the latest version
This is my guess

Now that you’ve had them both for a while - I am narrowing down my choices… and while I don’t want to spend this much it’s looking that way. I was going to pick the $1500 Sony… but you know…Not quite as warm as the 1ZM2 but the treble on SP3K sounds smoother, more refined and is even more detailed than 1ZM2. The detail retrieval on SP3K is amazing. Both great DAPs but I think SP3K sounds a little bit better to my ears.
It seems the interface is king on the AK, so is the screen.
Any change to your audio review?
How’s heat? Battery and day to day use? Which are you drawn to, for different reasons? E.g., when home AK, on the move the Sony (battery) etc.,

I understand Tidal integrated doesn’t allow downloads, but the standalone app does - but does the main player access and can if play downloaded MQA Tidal files?
What about playing Apple Music, that’s by default possible to download?
Looking for the best DAP in terms of integration, as if I want convenience, I’ll have a DAP which I can use one player with all the settings/tunings and stream and download without having to mix and have crippled options for some services.
Hope that makes sense.

I went to download and update the Tidal app on the SP3000 yesterday and it warned me before I tried to install it that it was not supported and may damage my device. This was the download available on the SP3000 itself, not side loaded. I've yet to discover how to download anything from Apple Music, Tidal or Spotify apps directly onto the device.I understand Tidal integrated doesn’t allow downloads, but the standalone app does - but does the main player access and can if play downloaded MQA Tidal files?

I only got mine yesterday, bought unseen, large, thick and heavy come to mind, but the sound quality, Roon integration and fantastic imaging against a silent background makes it pretty special when listening to music. Portable yes, wearable not so much.
Hi all,Solved my tracks playing out of order. It appears it sorts the tracks alphabetically so putting a 0 in front of 1 to 9 in the file name sorts that. I find it strange it does not use the track number as do most players or give you the option. Now I need to figure why the artist shows “unknown” when both artist and album artist tags are filled and the same. Does anyone know the tagging convention for AK?
Yes, agree that the SP3000 app isn’t currently finished comparing to many music apps like Roon or Audirvana where tagging is very well managed. No need to correct file names or tags only for one device ! A lot of work.
Something which can explain why I read here that the SP3000 is often used for streaming. Qobuz has a very good albums management.
Roon Arc will bypass Android on the SP3000 ?

Not yet but @JasonNYC has alluded to it being in the works.Roon Arc will bypass Android on the SP3000 ?

Mine fits in my pocket but it’s heavy in a good wayHow portable would you say the SP3000 is? My understanding is it's more transportable than portable/pocketable. I'm very tempted to get one, but if it's not pocket-friendly I don't think it'll get enough use out of it. Otherwise, I may go with a smaller mid-tier DAP instead since all flagship DAPs seem to roughly fall into the same size/weight category these days.

Thanks for the great advice is on cases guys. Mine doesn’t fit in my pelican 1020 although it does fit in the 1060. But the 1060 is huge.

Does anyone know if Roon is working on allowing sd card to be used for ARC app downloads? Currently only the internal storage location seems to be available on my SP3000.
