Wow, that’s got to be very unlucky. I would have thought each player would have been test run as a final quality check prior to boxing up.
I hope you get your replacement unit super quickly, it would be awful if they made you wait for a repair - double check your serial number

Every couple of days for me. I can usually squeeze out about 8 hours or so before I charge again.

Please update the thread with their repair/exchange speed, I would be extremely upset if I got a defective unit and not taken care of right away at the price being charged.

On a more positive note, the SP3000 does sound sublime.

I tried the battery life today. Played continuously with DAR (dsd), EQ for Odin so pushed amp and streaming roon. Got approx 8 hours for which I am quite happy. I usually leave on charge especially using during these long winter months. Summer will see it on battery by the pool.

I can probably get close to 9 hours, when I charge is when I’m usually around 15-20%.

i have no hard feeling or any animosity here.
It happened, I buy from a reliable reseller and they will exchange the player. I was hoping to have it by the thanksgiving holiday to enjoy the player. This is still the hope, AK has always been very reliable and so I won’t let this experience sway me from continuing to enjoy the brand.
