So I just got ASIO for foobar and the ASIO4ALL driver and with 5.1 in foobar it just sounds awesome. The sound is much clearer, especially with my CD rips.

Either that, or placebo.

However, with ASIO the sound is too loud. With my normal settings I can listen OK at foobar's max volume (+0 db) but with ASIO it's just too loud, even with Replaygain. I need to listen at -22db just to make the sound bearable. So, any tips to make the sound output lower?
