Okay, I know I should be able to get this one. I know all the ins and outs of both the card and program. All I want to do is output ASIO through the coaxial jack of the Revo into a DAC. I switched a Juli@ out for a Revo 5.1 for a dongle-less 192khz coax out. I tried as well as I could to rid my HD of the Juli@ drivers. The Revo shows up under the ASIO virtual devices tab. I set up both S/PDIF channel maps to Left and Right respectively. I set the output section to use Revo S/PDIF. Nothing plays. I can get KS and DS to work but not ASIO. I have the current foo_out_asio.dll, and I know it worked before.

Am I missing something, or do I need to clean install XP?

Here is a screenshot for visual people...

Use ASIO4ALL

This card should have native ASIO, so I would like to keep from using ASIO4ALL if possible. I would settle for KS, but for some reason, it responds very slowly to volume changes.

I was in the same boat as you (i.e. native ASIO on Revo would not work on digital out). ASIO4ALL solved the problem. Is there a reason why you wouldn't want to install (or even try) it?

Oh, I figure I try all my options first. I will try it, as I have before, but I just want to rule out that this is a limitation of the card rather than something I am doing.

Well, that is a major bummer. Since the only set of drivers are from 2004, I do not suppose there will be added support. I guess I will check out ASIO4ALL...

Edit: Real quick, just to appease my curiosity. I will be getting the same quality as I would if ASIO worked natively (Bit-perfect and all that good stuff), correct? I see that I can play 192khz stuff, so if it is the same, I will stick with it.
