I have all sorts of cheap cans, in-ear, over-ear ANC, closed over-ears, but they're all for-purpose, while the T1 is for pure fidelity.
What am I missing to complement them? Do some preferably closed cans deliver a much different signature more comparable to speakers listening experience? I have the Jim Holtz Finalists which have amazing realistic mids and I doubt any speakers from Amazon will match them, but I'm sure there's something which deliver more "in your face" presentation than the T1 while not being noise machines like the old Sony DJ series...

Which T1? Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3? They all sound quite different from each other.

Closed cans are mostly "for-purpose" rather than for "pure fidelity".
If you want different approach to pure fidelity, try planar-magnetic then later electrostatic.
