As a matter of curiosity... HD280 v HD270?

How different is the HD270 (AKA EH2something) to the 280? Anyone tried the two together?

The HD270 is way too dark in sound. In fact, it may be even more unbalanced than your Sony MDR-V700DJ's - while the V700DJ may have some mids and some highs (however woolly and grainy), the HD270 has honky mids and virtually no highs.

Yeah yeah, here we go with the V700's again - but in comparison to the 280?

Compared to the 280, the 270 falls way short in overall sound quality; they're not even close in caliber.
