It will all depend how close they come to the outgoing models of the HE1000 lineup. That and how prone the driver will be to accidental damage (from average use). Would love to demo them to find out how good they sound, but I would always be worried about damaging the exposed driver.
I don't have any interest in the unveiled models simply due to the risk, so I can only appreciate them for bringing down the price of Hifiman's other top-in-class headphones.
The SE being under $1500 is an unreal value.

So many models priced so close to each other so it's difficult pick the best one. Which one sounds best if people have compared?

HE1000 Unveiled $2,699
Arya Unveiled $1,499
HE1000 Stealth $1,399
Arya Organic $1,299
Arya Stealth Magnets $759 (I presume this one sounds noticeably worse than the rest)

HE1000se $1,699
I left HE1000SE out as I presume they are on their way out after HE1000 versions of the Unveiled and Stealth came in.

You may be right, although for me, having owned the Stealth and Organic, they are the best of all the non-Unveiled models I've heard. I still haven't heard any of the unveiled yet, so I am curious if they'll be any better than the HEKse. That 2699 should drop considerably in a year, maybe less.

Thanks for this. I just contacted the dealer whom I bought the Thieaudio Prestige LTD from. They have almost every Hifiman models in the store for me to compare (HE1000 Unveiled, SE and Stealth) and Arya Organic. Unfortunately they don't have the Arya Unveiled for demo.

I will drop by to have a listen when I'm ready (currently still short of cash  The dealer suggested the HE1000 Unveiled sounds noticeably better than the Stealth when I asked. I didn't ask on the comparison between the SE and other HE1000 variants though but this is what he told me:

General sound impressions,
He1000se, widest sounding out of the bunch. Resolving. Neutral bright tuning

He1000 stealth, more narrow sounding compared to the he1000se. More vocal centric. Unoffensive tuning

Arya organic, the most V shaped out of the bunch. A bit of a bump in both the bass and treble which some may find the treble to be too much. Fun sounding cans

We don't have the Arya Unveiled yet so no impressions for that🙏🏻

Ultimately I"ll have to listen and decide for myself. I'm trying to avoid the HE1000 Unveiled as it's above my budget. I hope I won't hear a big difference between the HE1000 Unveiled and SE/Stealth versions, and I hope the cheaper models will sound "sufficient".

If anyone has received the Arya Unveiled and happen to own the Arya Organic, HE1000SE and Stealth, I would appreciate some impressions on the differences between these headphones. I am able to listen to all except the Arya Unveiled.

Thanks.
