Yes, I finally got them!

In a solid box, that gave a very positive first impression. I am
using my NAD integrated amp the amplifier, with a Sony 7700
CD/DVD as the source. It has been playing without me listening
to it for about 3 hours, and now I just wanted to listen.

Awesome! Just what I'd expect. I know I will love these cans. I
remember I read somewhere that "you will forget that you are
wearing them", and yes, I just did. They are that comfy.

They will probably sound even better in a few days, since I will
let them play music 24 hours a day.

For $155, this was worth every penny.

I'm now a member of the Sennheiser club!

Nice. Get mine this week. Where did you get yours for $155. I can bring mine to work and let them play all day. Have fun

I bought them from Hans der Bär from Germany. He sells them
for EUR€200, and since I live in Norway, he removed the VAT (16
%), which got it down to EUR€172, and then it was only EUR€6 for
the shipping. EUR€178 equals about US$155.

You will have to get one of the upgrade cords, ie, Equinox from Stefan Audio Art or Cardas, if you want to hear what these cans can really do. It will simply amaze and delight you!

My pair of 600's just arrived today, also from Hans der Bär in Germany. I purchased them from his listing's on Ebay. $200 plus $10 for shipping. Not only a great price, but they came UPS Express from Germany in just 3 days! I'm on my lunch break at work - can't wait to get home and slip these babies on my noggin.

BTW, my recommendation to you both is to leave this site now, while you still have some money. Don't say you haven't been warned.

woah there cowboy. They've got some fantastic cans! Don't make fun of them if they don't have the cables yet! The road to becoming audiophiles is different for all. It may take a year, a month, 5 years. Let them start at their own pace. They'll soon be getting amps, etc.

I wasn't making fun of anyone, but after that "whoa there cowboy" comment, I may start with you.

What part of this statement is bashing his headphones? If you look at my gear, you'll see that I have the HD 600 myself. I used the words "amaze" and 'delight"; clearly, I'm trying to convey to him the further pleasures he can experience with his excellent choice of headphones.
