I'll be bringing:
Voda m100 (because I'm bringing everything else so why not)
Audio quest jitterbugs
Ultrarendu with uptone audio PS (if both of these ship in time)
Audioquest perch headphone stands
Man, didn't realize how fast this is sneaking up on us.
I'll have what's in my sig in tow. Although, I'm thinking about selling the Mojo + iFi iEMatch + Andros (CK White) if anyone attending has any interest.
I will also bring cables and a high quality RCA switch box if anyone wants to do some A/B testing between DACs. I'll bring both a Bimby and Gumby.
My entire collection has morphed and did a complete 180 from what I brought to the last meet. I’ll be bringing...
MrSpeakers Aeon Flow open
Meze 99 classic
And my Denon AH-D2000 that’s been modded out including wenge wood cups.
A “plethora” of tubes to roll until your hearts content.
Looking forward to it gents!
Dang, that is a change! Some good headphones there.
Thanx, but nothing like your current lineup. You have one of the finest collections I’ve seen for my tastes at least.
Everyone read up on the 820s that sennheiser announced at ces?
Yeah, kind of interested. Could be better than HD800 IMO.
Might be able to come to this.
Does anyone want to stay after the meet and have dinner/drinks or whatever?
Just getting a temp check to see if any interest. If there is, I will look around the area, close proximity to the hotel and make reservations for X amount of people.
I'm always game for some decent food and drinks. Can count me in.
It's definitely interesting, but I don't think I'd have a use case for it since I have no reason or desire to listen to closed backs at home. Too expensive for portable use (for me), and if the HD820 is anything like the HD800 variants it'll be very source specific, which doesn't really lend itself to portable use either.
If you're a HD800 guy and have a nice office you're not worried about stuff getting stolen from, or really enjoy TOTL closed cans at home then sure.
Oh, I'm just interested from a technical stand point. No need for closed back with Andro.
