Nothing a quick trip to RadioShack can't solve, even if the solution isn't of the highest quality.

i guess that mean you have to buy the grado 1/4 to 1/8 converter cable. available at headroom and some other places.

i use the ratshack adaptor, but its not a good solution since it apply a lot of pressure to the headphone jack.

since last i typed i have listened to the cans for about 4 minutes. for the past few hours my wife has stolen them and i basically had to rip them from her head just now.

at first she was like "let me hear what you've spent so much money for. what is this? it looks so junky! why are the ear things so floppy!"

"um honey, the pad side goes into your ears."

"they keep spinning around! why are they so tight?"

*i adjust the band*

"ok - let's hear something."

*very wisely i put on "Wonderful Tonight" - our Date song*

*wife exaggerates flicking a zippo, doing the Stevie Wonder head bob, other derogatory parodies of the Aural Geek - she knows what she's doing, she's had practice with my guitar gear*

"you look wonderful tonight..."

*she starts singing along, honest head bobbing...the MS-1 is drawing her in*

"how do you play it again? oh"

*the ipod is intuitive- she rewinds the song, listens again - lets the ipod keep going to Brown Eyed Girl, then Mr. Tambourine Man...etc*

"honey, can i listen now?"

*wife ignores me for a few hours*

Well I consider that a success. She's never done that for anything else I've owned of a Hobby nature, not even the IPod she bought me to get me off of online gaming (which worked, by the way, i'm a Head-file junkie now). Congrats Grado/Alessandro, you created a marital tool!

be careful that you dont swivel the enclosures too much!

the plastic 'U' attached to my driver enclosure today somehow 'unscrewed' from the metal rod!

Yeah, that is a major build problem, it happened to another member. You can contact Grado labs and they will help..

Also Jahn, GJ on your new purchase i`ve had the MS1`s for quite some time and i love them!...

But unfortunately, i think it is time i move up to MS2`s.
