Are your headphones damaged by loud music?

Ok, try this. Listen to your favorite song and carefully remember how it sounds. Now take an exacto and again carefully slice across the drivers diaphragm. Listen again. If it sounds worse, then your headphones were fine. If they sound the same then the drivers were damaged by loud music.

umm...ya...What...lol...I refuse to try it unless you try it in a video demo on your akg 701s...lol
