With your head-fi set up?

I'm very curious, I was thinking about it and I suspect a lot of us are hear because either we aren't happy with our current head-fi cans/amp/DAC/cables/source/music etc. or else we are happy, but suspect we could be happier.

Does that sound like you?

If not, why are you here? I think it's because of the community here, right? It's great just to interact with such cool, like minded people.

Which camp are you in?

Or neither?

As for me, I came for the best cheap cans but stay for the fascinating people here with so much info to share. If I want to know something about audio/PC's/music, I get more satisfaction in a couple PM's here than a day spent on Google. I'm happy with the imod, ED9, RPX-33 but am always curious. How do Taket H2 sound? One of my cars is going in the trading post on Thursday...

I'm here for the people.

It's one of the genuinely cool communities I've been a part of, and there don't seem to be any immature stereotypical 12-year-old forumers here. (That goes hand in hand with the wallet-draining potential of this hobby, I guess.)

When I started out back in April with naught but a lowly pair of HD212s, I was here for the research aspect alone but now that I've settled into a decently high-end solid-state rig (Still waiting on some components, namely the DAC, and ICs for it. Hurry up, USPS!) I find myself spending a good chunk of my overall foruming time here.

It's both getting to know the frequent posters and the fact that when I'm sick of immature idiots and trolls, I can stop by Head-fi for some remarkably mature reading.

I'm happy with my headphone rig, but I realize that there are a lot of headphones, amps, and sources out that I haven't heard yet (curiosity is what keeps me here). I'm primarily here to find that perfect headphone rig while also trying to enjoy this little niche community we have

This site is freakin evil man. Kenwoods, Imods, MS2, AD900, DT880, K501, K701, PK1, ER4 and XIn reviews all floating around. They're like POKEMON. You'll...errr..have to you know. Catch..them..all.

And heck no am I happy with my pathetic setup at the moment. My headphone obssession just started 2 months ago. I don't even know what started it really. No. It was the lack of detail resolution from the KSC75s that did it. I blame it all on KOSS. The turds!

Like what? How would you know?

You have to pick one or the other. Or both. Or neither.

I guess it's a mix of both for most of us, but can you pick which is more important?

Yeah, a little..

The last 2 weeks not that much since I am merely browsing while doing other stuff. It's hard if you do a lot of working on the computer and headfi is also there

I joined here because I was unhappy with my hps at that time. That problem is solved now and even more

But euhh...now, I come here mostly for the people and to read interesting things. I have got what I want for the time being and I'm real happy with it. The only thing that could improve my portable rig is the ed9 but that will be coming in the future so that's that.
Home setup will be coming next but that will take more than I while, I guess.
For now it's just enjoying what I have and listen to the music. Most important if you ask me, so yeah, I am happy
