A bit of a silly question maybe, I don't know, but are the two-pin connects standardized in some way (distance between pins etc)? Or is there only MMCX as a standard to be sure you can use your expensive cable on many (MMCX-) headphones?

Hi voon,

MMCX has very little variation in their build & design, generally the differences are more subtle, usually in build &/or connecting tolerances &/or locking style connectors, eg, some are 'stiffer' to connect & disconnect than others.

2 Pins, aside from obvious designs specifically made for certain IEMs, slotted &/or recessed ports come in two sizes, 0.78 mm or .075 mm (this is the distance between the pin ports), the former being more common.

Hope you have a great day !
