I bought these on Amazon and they just arrived today. The IEMs feel cheap. The housing is not the frosted clear I see on the website but a clear plastic. The lettering doesn’t seem sharp and the sound quality is so so.

I used to own Shure IEMs a long time ago and you can see the drivers inside the housing. For these IE 500 Pro, I don't see anything in the housing other than 2 wires.
Did I get receive fake IEMs from Amazon?

I did some more research and it looks like Shure uses traditional armature drivers and these use a single driver.

Comparing with close ups of reliable review sites can help. Also check if you bought it from a reseller on Amazon, their feedback might reveal something.
Wish.com is a guaranteed fake, but Amazon it's no sure thing either unless it's from the manufacturer store there.

The seller was Amazon itself and not a third party seller.

I did some more research and these seem to be genuine. Looks like Sennheiser uses a single dynamic driver for their IEMs whereas companies like Shure have stuck to traditional multi armature drivers. I have not had an IEM since 2008 so back then the single dynamic driver performance was just not there.

I've also watched a few review videos and the IEMs in the videos appear to be clear in color as well.

The build quality on these leave much to be desired. I may return them for a pair of Shure 535.
