Are these fake DT 880s?

I just got these today from a US seller on ebay, who said they were brand new in box.  He knew his stuff about headphones and seemed trustworthy.  Said he preferred k701s so that's why they were being sold new in box.  they had all the plastic wrapping around the cord so the didn't look tampered with or anything.  I looked again on amazon and noticed the ones there had these silver tabs on the adjustment bands, but mine didn't.  Anyone know why?

They are real. They are the Pro version, not the Premium version.

The 2005 edition is 250 ohms. The Amazon picture is current, which shows the 600 ohm version.

Edit: thanks Hodg, I should have figured amazon was using 8 year old pictures.

Yup that is the dt880 Pro version but i can't tell about the ohm that you owned, here is my DT880/600 ohm Pro http://www.head-fi.org/t/506963/dt880-600ohm-bs/345#post_8645984 looks indentical with your's
