It looks like from reading past sales that 60 shipped is way above what people are buying these for. I see sales from $9.99 to $20 + change. What are the internals? I don't know how anyone could make any money at that price and include free priority mail or first class shipping. It seems like there are a lot of happy purchasers.
I recently bought one of these Penguin amps with the OPA2132 on ebay, $49 shipped.
It's point-to-point on a little sliver of board, not a prefab board like some of the others (that sell for around $70 shipped from Germany). Unfortunately, the left channel is very distorted so I have to exchange mine for another.
I've made a cmoy before but didn't have time or materials or much money and needed a little extra juice for my ER-6s for some upcoming travels, so I thought I'd try this out and then build a PINT-successor to put in the same tin down the road.
The tin is very well built but as with all CMOYs on cut board it is a little sloppy inside and thus difficult to debug problems.
