Are there any headphones that allows me to take calls on my Android phone?

I have a Note 3 and I would like to have portable headphones that allows me to use it as a microphone, so I can take phone calls. This is way there wont be any interruption while I'm listening to music. I could just click on the remote to go into a phone call. I believe these are called 3.5 headphones.
 
I have these $20 Sony headphones and they're great. All I would like is to be able to take calls on this. Also a remote would be handy. Perhaps theres a 3.5 extension cable I can use with the headphones I already have?

Sennheiser have some closed portable headphones that come with a remote and volume switch for phones.
HD218i I think its called.
On Android, the call button works, not too sure about up and down volume.. Normally its press once to accept/end calls. Also press once to play/pause music, and double click to skip music.

iPhone and Android phones now share a common microphone standard for peripherals.  Anything with "iPhone compatible" on the packaging will work on your Note 3 for taking calls.  Music/volume controls are hit/miss.

there are also a number of bluetooth options that would cover audio and calls

If you wish to be on the safe side, there is the Jabra Vox worth looking into. There's a in-line remote control suitable for both Andriod and iOS...
