I own a pair of the JVC's (they were given to me for free, I don't know if they're the 150's or the 160's), but don't really use them since I stick to my IEM's, and they look a bit...questionable on me in their shiny teal color
. They actually sound pretty good though. Decent bass, fun sound signature, a bit raw-sounding, but not particularly lacking in any range. I remember a bit of sibilance, but nothing bad enough to ruin the whole experience. Isolation wasn't the greatest, but still better than the worst IEM's I've heard, and they were pretty comfortable.
I doubt the 160's would be worse than the 150's, they look pretty much identical.

There is a chance this were released to be compatible with the ipod line. Btw the prices in your link are very expensive. You can find them way cheaper.

HA-S150 and HA-S160 only differ cosmetically. Pretty good headphones though I paid <$10 for mine a few years ago. In that price range a good alternative would be the Coby CV185.

thanx alot for the replies..!
is the coby cv185 durable....I heard the headphone jack can go pretty easily. Is that true.
And how is the hd202. Is the sound quality good for metal? I heard it has bloated bass.
so im now confused between the jvc flats, the cv185 and the hd202...
which would you guys go for? how would they compare to the hd202?

read about the Koss KSC75 and Koss Portapros, so you can have more option and get even more confused
as for the flats, you can get them half of that price at amazon
