Are the ER6i worth upgrading to from the KSC75?

Hi,
I have been thinking of buying a ER6i to replace my KSC75, I hate the way the KSC 75 is colored (grainy highs, big dip in the mids) what I want is great mids and bright(ish) highs, something like the AD700 (if anyone in head-fi land owns one other than me).

If you prefer neutrality, yes. ER-6is have a thin midrange, however, IMO.

In terms of SQ alone, how does the ER-6i stands against the KSC-75? Is one better than the other or are they about the same?
