Are many people over the Monoprice 8323? I am. I'll never buy another.

Have any of you noticed a drop in quality accompanying the now almost constantly reduced price of these headphones?

Here is my experience in a review I just posted to Monoprice.

Like a lot of people, I first found these by various forums promising great sound for a low price.  I have paid somewhere around close to $30 for them and as low as $15.99 at other times.  The sound quality is good.  I wish there was 15% more bass to them, but I have a problem that makes these no longer matter to me.
That problem is build quality.  If I were to buy another one of these, it would be my fifth set in just a few years.  That is ridiculous.  Monoprice has replaced them at least twice I think, so I'm not wanting any more replacements because that's just almost stealing at this point.  But I am here to warn other people at what I have been experiencing.

First of all I notice that the price has stayed low for a long time now.  I have to believe that Monoprice has found an even cheaper maker or cheaper materials to make this headphone.  I brought a pair for my brother and he babies his gear like nobody I know.  He never dropped them once.  He only used then about ten times.  He shows me how the plastic frame of his headphones were cracking all over the place.  Finally they cracked to pieces and fell apart.  And these were practically new!!!

I told him mine have gone strong for about two years.  That was until I looked closely at them and saw that they were hairline cracked all over.  About a month later, mine fell apart into pieces.  And I was done then.  Totally done with this product.

It's time to leave the low budget game behind if that means I need to buy these every year.  It want something built with some respect for the customer.  Not everyone can afford to keep replacing headphones.

I can't even remember what the issue was with my very first pair.  I think it was very minimal sound in the left earpiece.
