for example some of the new Kenwood dap's are spec'd at a lousy 8mW per channel but all reviews so far indicate they can drive any decent head phones just fine so far.
Yet, with other dap's with much higher HP out specs, users complain ithey cannot drive most headphones adequately.
Are these just unique cases where a dap with low output is used with highly efficient phones and dap's with high output are driving inefficient phones?
Or are these "specs" weighted differently, inaccurate, or just meaningless?
