Are attached RCA plugs easily replaceable?

I just bought a used turntable, and like many older units, its RCA plugs are attached to the unit. The left one isn't working. Is it easy to buy a pair of RCA plugs and attach them in place of the current, plastic plugs? I can't solder and don't have much in the way of DIY skills at all. Thanks.

You'll need to borrow a basic multimeter to test which wire is the signal and which is the return after you snip off those cheesy terminations and strip them, which would also involve opening the unit and finding where they start. You'd also need some crimping style RCA plugs if you really want to avoid the soldering iron (I've never used the crimp style ones so I wouldn't be able to recommend a brand to you), but I think they have them at partsexpress and markertek.
