you know the adapters for changing a 1/8" plug to a 1/4" plug on your headphone cord? are they all essentially the same or are there audiophile grade adapters?

I don't know much about it, but i think you must be talking about the ones that have plastic surroundings.
I know grado cans come with all metal, gold plated 1/8 to 1/4 adapter's. They seem to work really well for me.
Sorry i can't give you any links.
I would like to know where you can get the adapter's without having to buy a set of cans.
If i can find a place i will try to let you know somehow.
