Just got an Archos 20gig studio. What all has anyone that has them done. I'm looking at the rockbox, for a different firmware to run it with. the pauses during playback and such are really getting to me after just one day.

Besides either upping the caps on the line out circuit, or getting a portable amp, any other ideas for getting the best out of it soundwise?

Try rockbox, its easy to install and remove if you don't like it. Most people prefer it to the stock firmware, I use it on mine.

Another vote for RockBoxx. The Archos firmware sucks ass...
