Not sure which reviews you're referring to, but they're no fly-by-night company. For what it's worth I've never had any problems (plus they're posted here pretty regularly). Never really had any contact with their customer service department though so don't know how that is if there's a problem.

Sounds like a good price for one of those! I'm tooling along with the AV320 and liking it more and more. Video is fine for one, and included cables let you play movies on the 'big screen'. I'm experimenting right now to determine optimal picture resolution and compression settings for full TV screen viewing. Fun stuff!

$224.99 (if you purchase with the Buy.com Visa card.)
I have never had problems with buy.com either.

I like the internal CF card reader. But can you view and play movies
off of the CF card in the player's reader slot? Or do you have to copy
pictures and movies over to the player's HD first to view and watch?

Vranswer, how is the body construction of your AV320? Does the AV320 and Gmini400 both have plastic bodies? I have not seen a good detailed pic of the players.

The AV320 has the optical digital audio output, but I don't know about the Gmini400. Also does the Gmini400 have the same digital VCR like features that the AV320 has?

Audio quality and battery longevity are important factors to me, and the iAudio X5L still appeals to me. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Thanks!

Just found out, the Gmini400 does not record Video, but it can playback video (it does record audio.) The AV320 of course records both video and audio.
