I currently have the irDAC from Arcam and was thinking of buying an rHead headphone amplifier to use with my Sennheiser HD 650's.
I realise the rHead has a volume control knob, however if I go analogue out from the irDAC into the rHead (the irDAC is being fed TIDAL/ROON from my MacBook via USB), can I control the rHead's volume with the irDAC's remote control?
I'm wondering whether i should just go for the irDAC ii instead as it has an inbuilt headphone amp as well but the amp would be no where near as good. I've also heard the irDAC sounds better than the irDAC ii (mainly used with my KEF LS50's and Cambridge audio 751r).
