I am thinking about this also. My Pixel is due to arrive on Monday. The A&K seems the best from what I have read, but have not tried it. There is quite a bit on Pixel 2 audio on XDA also. One guy evaluated the Google dongle and others and said it was actually quite good, even excellent with a software hack. See...

From what I have read, aptX HD does improve performance of non-hires music also.

What are you looking to do? In some situations, Chromecast Audio works better than bluetooth as a lossless option.

Thanks! Compared to the A&K, have you run into any that support only non-HD aptX equally well and are less expensive?

I'm looking to use with my Sennheiser ie80 + null audio cable and 320kbps Spotify.
