The big pads alone are going to make this a sure purchase for me tomorrow. I can tolerate the smaller pads fine, but bigger would definitely be better -- and one of my friends whom I let borrow them for a spell also lamented the smaller pads on the OG R70x -- so happy to see this edition, and at a discount over the stock price, too.

Now I have to get one just for that lol.
My AD700 in perfect like new condition. The only phone that came with 2 silver bullets in case you have to take down a werewolf pairs wonderfully with the AT-BHA100. Like I said on the ADX3000 thread, exciting times for AT fans. Who knows.. AT x ZMF could be next

lol Silver bullets?! I don’t remember that! I do remember the (non-detachable) cable being unusually thick and nice, kinda spoiled me for awhile. That was well before I paid any attention to silver in my cables or anything like that Your AD700 does look like it’s in mighty fine condition!

@Apos Audio is there an ETA date when doing an order? I heard it will be between the last quarter of this year to first quarter of 2025.

Just placed an order for a pair, hopefully it'll be in the first shipment they get. 470ohm and 1,000mw power handling, so like the original a good amplifier is a must. The original peaked over 1,000ohm in the bass region, hopefully it's got less bass distortion than the original. I didn't go for the balanced cable, a Topping A30Pro/D30Pro can handle it easily. Will post a review after spending a solid day on them without EQ to get a good overview.

I suspect you received the same email I received earlier this morning directing us to email them to ask that question, and like you guys, they responded pretty quickly, and I am happy to also be in the first batch expected to ship starting in October -- not only that, I really appreciate them answering that question promptly and nicely. I've only purchased one other thing if I remember correctly from Apos (the Topping EH5 energizer for my Stax sets), but I am definitely inclined to purchase even more in the future based on their excellent customer relations.
